Nimue Nimure. Probably one of my favorite characters of all time. Usually I would have worked on this over the course of several days but as I ended up having a bit less time to finish it than I thought I did, I had a sort of painting marathon on Sunday. I (miraculously) finished the whole thing in less than 24 hours, starting around 11 am on Sunday and painting until the wee hours of the morning. Then getting up and putting the finishing touches on it around 9 am Monday. I've gone back and refined the background just a bit (Don't worry Eleanor; I'm probably the only one who would be able to tell. And probably Julia) so I may upload the new version at some point. When I'm feeling brave enough to battle the scanner again. So yeah. Happy Birthday Plea. I hope you like it.  P.S. Forgot to mention that ~DidThePieGoHome and I dubbed the place she's standing as 'Simon Rock.' Heh. There's a reason for that but I'm not going to tell you what it is. XD |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
