A while later, an angel came to me. A woman. A lady in white. She spoke to me, asking me if I was afraid of dying. Her hands were gentle on my face, her long red hair, I remembered clearly. She was indescribably beautiful, flawless in features. I remember how cold her dark blue eyes were, how pale she looked. I asked if she was, indeed, an angel. She smiled and said that if that were he case, she was the angel of death. I told her I was scared. She told me not to worry. She took my hands in hers, and squeezed them. Do not be afraid, darling. Im here. Her ruby lips caressed my neck, and somehow, between the blurring howl of blackened death and the blood in which I lay, she changed me, turned me--and I became trapped, soul bound to body. And like snow, she was gone. I sat up, bloodless, as she had made me, alone. I touched my neck and felt two, tiny holes from where she had kissed me--and I glanced down to find, eerily enough, the blood Id been laying in had dried, somehow, and flaked off of the earth like rose petals, trickling in the wind. I felt sick, and weary, but I was alive-- And then I realized I was without a heartbeat. Вампир, as she had made me. Вампир, as I was meant to be

This is a quick illustration that I came up with after reading the story from which I took the previous excerpt. I dunno if it's 100% accurate but this is how I saw it in my head...Plea has such a beautiful, vivid way of writing that I can always see everything so clearly. This was just one scene I thought I might actually be able to pull off.
Words...do not describe how perfectly amazing you are. TT A TT where have u been all mai lief!
But for srsly, first of all, thank you for including the snippet of the text. Nothing makes a writer happier than to see just how dearly someone appreciates their work! Or at least, in my case.
Second of all, I adore this piece so much I can hardly type straight. The details of the art itself, the composition and color scheme, were incredible choices. The woman's red hair, matching the blood, guides the eye straight into the center-piece and focus of the painting, Nikolas's wounds, while the positions of each of their immaculately-drawn hands, still, yet still moving, continue the flow of the piece so nicely... <3 The colors are wonderfully rendered and the texture of those incredible, talented watercolors you brush awe me.
And now, the story-closeness. Absolutely. 100%. Accurate. You managed to find an exquisite design of a dress, somehow, in your mind--you knew, somehow, that her arms were bare. You knew their expressions, and you knew their positions. I love that this is flipped around, and that you added birch trees to balance it out. This shows her, I think, as slightly more dominant, but still so gentle, as she was meant to be--a coaxing figure, and an angel, but not. Nik's pale face and expression of terrified / worried wonderment made me melt. The softness and closeness, despite the heart-wrenching way you captured the moment is amazing. And where Nik is handsome (in a strange sort of way), the woman's beauty is truly accentuated here.
In short, thank you. so, so much. :'D I cannot thank you enough, and I adore this.
